Better for planet
Without focus and forethought, an average-size event can produce a staggering amount of waste. We remain committed to implementing environmentally responsible practices, including electronic registration, recycled materials, digital branding, eliminating conference bags, encouraging reusable exhibitor displays, and promoting more sustainable travel choices. We’re also working toward Carbon Neutral certification with Toitū Envirocare, and are a signatory to the IAPCO pledge to eliminate single-use plastics.
Better for people
Our mission of bringing people together isn’t reserved for conferences. Social Responsibility is a fundamental pillar of who we are, meaning we continue to prioritise the communities we work within. Through our partnership with OrangeSky, we support initiatives across Australasia that provide free laundry, warm showers, and meaningful connection to people experiencing homelessness. Because we believe if we aren’t giving back, we aren’t moving forward.
Acknowledgement
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and pay our respect to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters, and culture, and acknowledge the important role Indigenous people continue to play within our community.
