Bridgette Sinclair recently joined The Conference Company in the sponsorship and exhibition sales team. The role piqued her interest after having worked with an Australasian Association as their New Zealand Partnerships Manager where she saw first-hand the challenges and the responsibility Associations face when organising conferences and meetings. “Engagement is key both for delegates and sponsors” she says. “And how we find new ways to get them to interact and create value from an event for both parties”.
Prior to moving into the association world Bridgette spent 15 years in London in sales, marketing, recruitment and administration roles and was fortunate enough to work for both large global corporations and small boutique companies. This called for versatility and she learned to adapt her approach according to the nature of the business.
Having been an organiser of conferences and events, a delegate, a sponsor and previously selling event sponsorship, Bridgette has a good all-round view of the conference industry. Coming up with new ideas and innovations is what interests her most about the world of business events.
In her spare time, Bridgette likes to travel, making use of the wonderful New Zealand outdoors and is partial to a New Zealand Chardonnay. She is looking forward to new challenges at The Conference Company.
